scrolling speed

Too fast

Primary PC is windows 10 / 64 bit. Secondary is windows 7 / 32 bit.   When switching to secondary, the mouse wheel scrolls too fast.  When I click Ctrl-Alt-Delete, then hit cancel.. the mouse seems to work fine for awhile on the secondary machine.  Then when I open something that requires scrolling (like Outlook) .. it speeds up too fast again and scrolls multiple lines.  I've tried to adjust the mouse wheel settings on both the primary and secondary machines, but it does not solve the problem permanently on the secondary machine.

Current mouse setting on the Primary (Win10) is to scroll one line at a time

Current mouse setting on the Secondary (Win 7) is "Enable vertical scrolling - Slow"  and Advanced Tab, Enable accelerated scrolling is UNCHECKED.

I've several different combinations and it still goes back to very fast scrolling on the Secondary Win 7 machine.

Suggestions?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

In looking at your account, you appear to have a very old version (two versions ago) - one that has not been sold or supported for many years.

It would be prudent to uninstall on each box and install the current version trial to see if it resolves your issue.

I just downloaded the new version 3.44 and entered my product key, says it is not the right key.  Then I downloaded the key again associated with my account... still doesn't work.  Now what?

End of Richard's quote

You do not own version 3 so your key for the older version you do will not work.

For the time being, use the trial.

I downloaded trial version 3 and installed on both PCs.  The Primary is Win10 and the Secondary is Win 7.  On the secondary, when scrolling, the mouse is still really fast (intermittently).. and I've tried different settings with no change. So  upgrading to version 3 doesn't seem to be the issue.  Suggestions?

Are you using any special mouse \ peripheral software (Logitech for example)?  If so, is it installed on each PC?
