Why my icons in a Fence are all squeezed together in each Fence?

I upgraded to Fences 3.0.9.11 and now I can't read the icons

Hi,

I upgraded to Fences 3.0.9.11 and now I can't read the icons for my files because they are all packed tightly together on my windows 10 desktop.

Why my icons in a Fence are all squeezed together in each Fence?

I used to be able to scroll down a Fence to view them. Now I can't scroll.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Try the purge and reinstall steps as mentioned here : https://forums.stardock.com/486084/fences-support-faq#reinstalling

Just make sure to re-download the latest version from your account. Reboot after the purge, reinstall using the latest version you just downloaded. Reboot again after the installation. Retest it and report back.

Thank you,

Thanks for your help.

The correct answer is here:

Desktop Icon Spacing

https://www.addictivetips.com/windows-tips/increase-or-decrease-desktop-icon-spacing-windows-10/

Open the run box with the Win + R keyboard shortcut. In the run box, type regedit to open the Windows Registry.

Go to the following location in the Windows Registry.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\WindowMetrics

With the grid, you need to change the difference between the rows of the grid, and the columns. That means there are two values you have to edit. Each value manages a different aspect of the grid. The IconSpacing value will change spacing between columns, and IconVerticalSpacing will change spaces between rows.
