CursorFX 4

Startup in win10

Hello,

I used to have CursorFX 2.16 then removed it with the Purge_CursorFX.bat file before installing the new CursorFX 4; and it works as it should. Thing is it doesn't start up with windows and I have to manually start it up every time. Was the same with 2.16. Tried setting a task for it three different times with various file locations but nothing is working on that end as windows tells me the system cannot find the file specified. BTW it's bought and activated.

So, what do I need to do in order to get the program to automatically start with windows 10 Pro build 1909 (if that matters) ?

Thanks

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Please check if CursorFX is listed in Task Manager's Startup tabs and Status is enable.

Thanks,

I've got two showing up in Task manager. Don't understand why there are two. One is enabled the other is not.

Both are linking to file locations if that matters.

Hello,

Try uninstall it again. And before reinstalling try to see if both is gone. If not you can manually delete it. Reboot and recheck. If its both gone. Try reinstalling.

Uninstalled.

Found two items pertaining to cursorfx afterwards still running in task manager.

After digging around the registry I found about four items total that were in place.

Deleted them. Restarted. Reinstalled CursorFX 4.

Now running as it should.

Thanks for the direction on this basj
