Secondary Machine has a weird IP and not discoverable by main machine.

Help!

I just built a new machine and added Multiplicity.  Setting my old machine as the "secondary".

All of my computers on my network have a 192.168.0.* address.. but my secondary says it's 169.254.21.253.... I have no idea where it got that IP and when I look up the IP of the machine it's clearly 192.168.0.25

My main machine can't find this one no matter what.

Thoughts?  Please help.

169 addresses are typically because it can't communicate with a dhcp server to pull down an IP.  Either, your computer isn't connect to the network, your hardware is having problems or your dhcp isn't working.  If it shows that you are connected, check your cord, port etc...  try multiplicity on other devices.
