Another Rip

I feel for you Boxxi.......I have found several of my images at ThemeXP which I didn't post yet those authors claim to have made it. I have sent several emails to get it removed but I get nothing.

Its sad there are so many low lifes in this world that have to steal to get their 15 min. of fame.

Not only is it an obvious rip, but what he did to it is awful! FWIW, I left a comment ...

No kidding..........

Why don't we all register at themexp so that we can add comments to the rips to see how many it takes for them to act. I have but unfortunately you have to wait 6 days before you are permitted to leave comments......

I am looking forward to 8th August so I can comply.



Does anyone know of any more rips at themexp?

It is possible to email the admins there. They usually react favorably to RIP reports.

jcg - BoXXi has already done that but they took no notice.

That's odd. They responded very responsibly the last time I got involved. Give it time, its the weekend after all.

It's the weekend, maybe they will take a little time to get to it. They're usually very good about removing rips when notified. Posting a comment probably won't get any action but emailing the admins most likely will.

I left a comment too... can't stand rippers...

The 8th of August is now on my calender also! >

Greg at themeXP.org is quite conscientious when it comes to responding to posted rips.

It's a two-way street....we sort them here and he sorts them there.

Give him time to resolve this.....[I've contacted him myself]...

I have sent an e-mail to the guy. The e-mail says:


hi,
I have found that on a web site called www.wincustomize.com a person called BoXXi has made that wall paper you put up called Amd Duron Hell.
He says you have copied it and then slapped on a logo.

that's not very good. They have copied that one too!

Corona is different, I think. The design is taken from Windows Media Player 9 and different from Alexandries, if You had that in mind.

we should watch that site more, I bet that they will rip dwm's new wall soon too

Note that it is NOT the site which is 'ripping works' but a few of its members.

Wincustomize.com has the same problem with some of its members as well, often through ignorance, nothing more...

I believe they have removed the wall that BoXXi indicated was a rip.

Let me know if they rip anything of mine...Especially Sailors' Delight.
