BEX64 error

from Stardock Forums

Hi all,

I'm using Start10 and recently I encounter random BEX64 error whereby the taskbar restarts itself. Not sure if something wrong with Start10 that causing this issue. Does anyone also encounter this issue?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

1) Windows version. Please use "Winver.exe" for full version numbers.

2) Start10 version.

1. Windows 10, 64bit, Version 1803, build 17134.165

2. Start10 V1.8

3. my taskbar randomly restarts itself. Window error log shows:

Is there a reason you are running such an old version of Windows 10?  1803 left standard Microsoft support in November 2019.  Only enterprise and educational customers still have support and that ends later this year too.

I didn't notice that. Windows update was somehow disabled. I ran an update to version 1909. Will update if the issue still occurs.

I have just had the same issue but with Fences 4 running Windows 11

As you can see in the chart below, both 1909 and 2004 have reached End of Servicing. You should consider updating to 21H2 (19044).
