VirusTotal showing "false positive" I need this confirmed in an email.


Hello Friends,

I am wanting to use groupy at work but my place of employment wont allow me to install groupy on my work computer because it failed a VirusTotal scan. Although, my boss mentioned that If I try and contact Stardock and see what they say regarding the scan I might be allowed to use it.

So my question is: Was this more then likely a false positive?

Thanks for the help! I am dying to use this software on my work computer. I truly believe it will help me be more productive.

Hello,

Above is my original thread I made regarding that Groupy fails a VirusTotal scan. I was told by the Stardock Support Manager Sean Drohan that this is a false positive. I need someone from support confirming this via an email. My boss wants this confirmed via an email. Once I get someone from support to confirm that its a false positive via email, I'll be allowed to use groupy on my work computer. I am sorry for being annoying.

Screen shot of the Support Manager confirm this. I need what he said confirmed in an email.
