Ok, but how did we get there - what was the trigger / change? Was it at 280, 281, ... or a specific sound package?
Not sure I understand the question. Sound Package? Sound Packager has no effect on load time, just no sounds. As for trigger, it isn't every time. Sometimes it loads without the extra wait for the busy cursor to finish. It always takes too long to load. The more I add, the slower it gets.
In the end, it's taking about 45 seconds to show a dialog window, then another 30 or so waiting for the window to become active (sometimes, not always). I am certain it has to do with the sheer number of cursors I have because the reverse is true. Remove some, it gets faster. But I need to be able to use all my cursors.
There is no pressure here, RND, you don't have to do this. While it is appreciated, if you would rather just use CFX2 until CFX4 is out of the oven, that's perfectly acceptable.
I know, Sean, I just get frustrated. Adding 500 plus cursors one at a time is tedious to say the least.
I need to help because, as far as I know, I'm the only one with the issues. A release version may not help me if I don't help you. The reason I keep saying CFX2 works fine here is that I thought the statement may cause you to look at your changes to find the culprit. Makes sense to me that if CFX2 works fine, and CFX4 does not, then some change you guys made is the issue. Not anything I will ever find on my end.
