New start10 user, few questions mostly regarding customizing all programs and custom places

So im debating transitioning from open-shell, and im about 50/50.   Can already tell "some" concessions will need to be made, but trying to make it as least painful as possible. 

1) Settings.  its already in the custom places list - id prefer to not have it in the list of my folders under all programs.  how can i hide this?

2) organizing the all programs list in general.  appears you cant sort the entries in any way?  I guess theyre all just sorted alphabetically by default?

3) im working on populating the custom place locations with the ones i have added via open-shell.  are these gonna be sortable?  Separators addable as im not seeing the option?

4) any way to get flyout the same color as the menu instead of turning light/grey when expanding menus?

5) ouch, full stop.  seems you cant add custom shortcuts directly to programs in the right pane eh?  Just to folders?

thats the deal breaker >.<
