Purchasing Icon Developer -- Dead End

Now my post got nuked.

I've paid for this software, and I'm not getting the link nor the registration key.  What's going on?  You don't allow us to email you, and you nuke posts when we try to get customer service?

Once again -- I paid $10.59 for Icon Developer, I did not get a link to d/l the full version after I clicked continue on the pop up window.

Please fix this!

Your post didn't get nuked it is just hidden because of all the personal info included .

It is there for support to see and review .

Ok.  The message said, "This post was nuked.  If you don't mind radiation, you can refresh to see if it's still there".  I refreshed and it didn't reappear, so the conclusion is to accept the words "it's been nuked" as truthful.

It would probably make customers more understanding if the response was, "We've hidden this post because of personal info, but it is being reviewed."

Don't you think that might be a better response, reducing blow-back when it is 100% unnecessary?

Hello,

Normally I would just delete some personal info posted and leave the Thread

but in your case it was a whole invoice so I hid it , not allowing me to leave you a message.

My Mistake , sorry.

Try the link I posted above to get your download and key and see if that works for you.

If not post back here .

In the mean time message was sent to support .

I tried that originally.  I never got to d/l it so it doesn't show in my download folder.  After I clicked "continue" on the pop up window I got, it disappeared (where the key appeared as well) and led me to this dead end.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. https://www.stardock.com/support/product-key-retrieval

When you use the link above and you put in your email did you get to "email send" notification?

Thanks

GSS90000, I've checked the other thread which AzDude 'nuked' [hid from public access] and concur he did the right thing to hide it.

The 'nuke' message is common online when similar situations occur, not just with Stardock's sites, and is simply generic to cover the most common reasons, eg double posts.

Your situation was a privacy issue with personal details which is somewhat less common [thankfully for all]...;)

Yeah I get that.  My issue is that the nuke message doesn't give me the information that I need to know that "nuke" doesn't mean "completely removed for all to see."  As far as I could see, a reply that says "We hid your private issue but our people are working on it" is smarter, easier, and more efficient and it's a win all the way around.  I get my info, you don't have to deal with multiple emails using multiple people to answer my concern.

Anyway, that's a minor side issue-- run your business the way you want, and deal with multiple people sending multiple emails when you could solve it with one if that's what you want.  What I want is much simpler:

Can I get my issue fixed?

We are trying. Can you respond to my question on Reply#6? BTW in your other post it mentioned you're using paypal for the payment. A lot of time, your paypal email account is the one you should try first to retrieve your product and key. Try it and let us know.

Thank you,
