Icons become de-arranged

I have twelve separate Fences on my desktop and the icons in all of them are arranged a specific way so I know exactly where a given icon is supposed to be.  However, the icons in one or another of them get mixed up whenever I play a particular game and the only way to put them back the way I want them is to restore the latest snapshot of my fences.  Does anyone have any idea why this de-arrangement occurs or how I can stop it or fix it?

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need to know more.

1) Windows version. Please use Winver.exe for full version numbers.

2) Fences version.

3) And your setting on the "Layout features and snapshots".

I have test out on my system and Fences seem to keep the icons layout/location on my system, after returning from playing a game at lower resolutions. Below is a screenshot of my setting on it.

OK, I am running Windows 10 Version 1903 (OS Build 18362.592) and Fences version 3.0.9.11 and my Layout auto-adjustments are exactly as you show.

You mention it happened on "a particular game" and not all games? Might help to look into that particular game behavior. Kindly list down its name.

Thank you,

It appears that the game in question is an old game from Absolutist, Bubble Golden Pack.  It seems to be the only game doing this.

No doubt the game is changing the resolution of the PC when run and the PC is changing back when it ends.  I would wonder what effect this would have to deal with that:

As an alternative, if the game has an option to run borderless-windowed or just windowed, not full screen, that should also avoid it messing with the desktop.

Although I much prefer it to run full screen, when played in its "native" size my fenced icons do not de-arrange themselves.  Thanks.
