Mouse/Keyboard not responding correctly

When using Multiplicity (Seamless Mode), my mouse and keyboard are reacting slowly and locking up on both Primary and Secondary computers. I have to click a selection at least 3 times before I am able to type anything. Often, if I stop typing for a short period of time or select a different area in the same document or area (even as I now type in this post), I have to then click the selection again 3 times to get it to work. There are times that everything is frozen and clicking 3 times does not work. Due to the number of clicks required, it often causes other issues, such as selection of entire sentences that were not intended to be selected. Sometimes it even happens in the middle of typing for no reason.

I purchased Object Desktop Manager yesterday and currently have Multiplicity KM, Fences, Tiles and SpaceMonger installed on a brand new Windows 10  64-bit (16.0 GB Ram) desktop computer.

If there is anything I can do or settings I can try, please let me know...

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Is this over wireless or Ethernet?

Hello Sean,

The connection to my desktop is Ethernet (Primary) and the connection to my laptop is wifi/wireless.

Thank you,

Jeanie

Is it possible for you to test with both Ethernet connected?

Hello Sean,

Unfortunately, at the current time, I can only use the laptop with wifi. I'm looking to test it with Ethernet, but currently don't have an Ethernet cable long enough. Secondly, there are not enough Ethernet ports available... Working on a solution here. Thank you for asking.

Sean,

I'm still looking for help... I finally obtained an Ethernet cable and tested Multiplicity only using Ethernet connections on both computers. It does work better, but still not the way it should.

On the Primary computer, I often need to click multiple times (sometimes many more than 3) in order to type, especially when typing inside of internet forms. Something is interfering. I will be typing, then all of a sudden, I am no longer able to type. Then I have to click multiple times to bring it back, so that I can continue.

Are there settings that I should look at? Can anyone offer insight?

I really like the Multiplicity software, if I can just get this one issue corrected.

Thank you,

Jeanie
