Seems to work in full screen on the secondary computer but on the primary it dosn't. Not sure why the hotkeys only work on Secondary in full screen mode but not the primary. Weird.
Yeah same here
Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having trouble.
I tested this with Chrome full screen (and F11 full) and was able to get hotkey 'Computer on left' to work. Please provide exact steps (apps, hotkey action, etc) to reproduce your issue.

The Hotkey I have setup is one key for Primary and one key for Secondary. So when I hit the hotkey for Primary it will go to the Primary screen and when I hit the key for Secondary it will go to the Secondary screen. The Hotkeys only work on the Secondary screen in Full Screen mode of games. If I am on the Primary Screen and in Full Screen mode of a Game I am playing, and I want to switch to the Secondary screen via the Hotkey it doesn't work. I have to Alt-Tab out of the game then the hotkey for the Secondary screen will work from the Primary screen. Now if I play the game on the Secondary Screen (Secondary PC) even when in full screen mode the Hotkey works fine, I am able to switch from Secondary to Primary by Hotkey when the game is in Full Screen. I don't know why the Hotkeys will not work on the Primary when a game is in Full Screen mode.
I tried full screen mode in Chrome and it works fine, so this seems to be game related, but just don't understand why it works on the other PC but not the main one.
OK I did some more testing. I swapped Primary and Secondary in the Multiplicity App, and the problem follows what ever computer is set to Primary in the app. So the issue is related to the APP itself and witch ever PC is set to Primary, so its not related to any one of the PC, both my PC's are confirmed to work just fine with Hot Keys when Games are in Full screen mode when either one is set as the Secondary but not the Primary.
Here are some pictures from my configuration.

Some games will directly get input and block multiplicity from detecting hotkeys. This is not a problem when controlling a secondary as all input is going via Multiplicity and thus it knows when a hotkey is pressed.
What games are you having trouble with specifically?
Star Citizen, I am basically trying to Dual box with two accounts, one on each PC, then switch back and forth between the two. I also have primary and secondary set to run as Administrator. If the game is blocking the hotkeys on the Primary then I will probably have to add a 3rd PC to just be the Master for the Keyboard and Mouse and use that to switch on the other 2 PCs with the game running on those 2. Well unless there is a bug they can fix with the app that is causing this.
Was there ever a solution to this? I'm running Fences on just 1 PC and my hotkeys stop working after exiting Star Citizen. They do work while I'm playing as long as I alt-tab to something else first. Something happens when I exit the game that stops them from working.
Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. But, you do know you're posting on multiplicity thread which does not involve Fences. Please post your issue on Fences thread by creating your own thread there https://forums.stardock.com/forum/501.
Also more details on your system please. Windows version numbers, Fences version numbers. etc.
Thanks
