Update Groupy

Installation does not work

I tried to install the 1.3 update of Groupy, but no installation screen does come up. I tried to swith to the installation icon with alt-tab, but only a white screen appears.

 

Can you help me?

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Good Morning,

 

Thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, it didn't work, the same problem remains. After executing the file, nothing happens. When I alt-tab to the installation screen, it shows a white screen whith an installation screen, but when I switch to it, the screen remains my desktop.

Try disabling your AV software for any install.  If that fails, are you getting the UAC prompt (asking for admin access) when trying to install or no?

Unfortunately, I can't disable my firewall and AV-software, because it's my business computer. I do have temporary admin rights to install software. So it's possible to lauch the installer, but it doesn't ask me for admin rights.

As with any software install, that is the very first thing you would see after launching an installer.

It would be prudent to include your IT people in your install efforts to see if they can shed some light on why you are having this issue.
