upgrade?

This is what my Object Desktop says:

Object Desktop Upgrade (from Standalone) - Expired

From standalone?

Expired?

$20 when the full program is $30 out o the box? How is this calculated? I only used this for a little while in 2018... decide to retry and I have to pay again? What's the logic here? What 'upgrade' and thanks.

It looks like your annual Object Desktop suite access has lapsed: *10/29/2019*

Object Desktop is a membership to a suite of Stardock products. When a membership lapses, retrieval of the products in that suite is not permitted until a membership is renewed. Any back-ups of the installers you may have would still work. Also, activation will also still work for them.

That said, you do qualify for a notable discount for renewal as a prior Object Desktop customer. Please follow the link below for details:
