translation error Start10

Start 10 Version 1.80 NEW! The latest version brings updated language support and quality of life updates

Updated language support contains errors:  cs.lng 

Does not translate for example:

"Run..."="Spustit..."

"All Programs"="Všechny programy"

"Modern UI Applications"="Nové aplikace"

Many hints and graphical interface "Configuration Start 10" not translated. Please repair.

They seem to translate well"

"Run..."="Spustit..." = 'Start'
"All Programs"="Všechny programy" = 'All programs'
"Modern UI Applications"="Nové aplikace" = 'New applications'
 
What else have you found that is not translated - please be specific.

The items listed by me are not translated at all.
I copied items from cs.lng. There is a translation correct, but the menus are seen untranslated, ie Run ... All Programs etc. I would send a screenshot if possible, for a better understanding.
I should see "Spustit...", "Všechny programy"

All programs, run etc use the OS translations.

Is your OS set correctly in that language for display?

Yes. I returned version 1.75 which is fine. In version 1.80 most are translated correctly, but something remains in EN.

It seems to me that the program does not correctly find the translation in the cs.lng file.

Version 1.80 behaves the same way on another PC.

Both. The above items are not translated in the menu, hint is not translated for more items in the menu. The  Configuration screen is also untranslated.

For the config, unzip this

to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\Start10\lang

Overwriting the cs file that is already there.

Yes, it's okay.:)  

I just recommend translating "Run ..." = "Spustit ...", as previously translated. The current "Run...= Běh ..." is not appropriate.

Only the problem of diacritics encoding remains in the older part of the translation, but I will fix it, as always (e.g pøizpùsobit - přizpůsobit). Newly added lines at the beginning of cs.lng already have the correct Central European encoding (charset).

Also me have a problems with translatiosn in Italian language after update to new version, infact these words remain in English and not in Italian:

All programs = Tutti i programmi

Back = Indietro

Run = Esegui

All ok now ..i reinstall Start10_1.80_setup_sd.exe and now the translations are ok

Just so you know:

Today I updated Start10 on another PC and I had to rewrite cs.lng from 21.11.2019 downloaded file from URL https://cdn.stardock.us/support/uploads/cs.zip.

I have another question:

Did you change the font size in the "Shutdown"/"Vypnout" submenu intentionally? It doesn't match me a bit.

I updated version 1.75 to 1.80. The update offered itself, I did not download anything, I entered the license key and e-mail and confirmed. Then the installation took place.

I did not reinstall the downloaded version 1.8, only the older version 1.75, the update offered itself.

To the different font size I should add that it occurs on one PC, on another laptop is the font correct. I guess you can't help me with that. The text Configure Start10 ... it also has a larger font. The operating system is the same Windows 10 Pro, version 1909.

But I don't want to burden you unnecessarily.

      EDIT 13.12.2019:  If you overwrite "start10_64.dll" in the installed version 1.8 with the same file version 1.75, the font of the submenu will be fixed.

Hello,

unfortunately I had another problem. As with the above users, there is a problem displaying the Start10 translation. The translation is correct in the file, but it IS NOT DISPLAYED. In my case, I first noticed a change in the text next to "Settings." Then all balloon tips at the buttons are displayed incorrectly and part of the text is missing in the menu. By completely removing the language file - for me cs.lng (16098 b, 11.02.2021) the language in the Start10 setting will be changed to English, but the program interface will remain in Czech. Only the "All Programs" item will change to English. I have no idea which buffer the program takes from Czech even after a restart.
