Invisible Wormholes?

I just started a new game and twice now, at the beginning of a turn one of my ships would end up in the boondocks as if it had landed on a wormhole. There was no visible wormhole. Looky here:

If you have all DLC and expansions,  my guess is that the AI has the Wormhole Artifacrt that sends ships to random locations.  I've had it happen a few times myself.  I've done the same to them to prevent  a colony ship from beating me to a Precursor world.  }:)

I love using that artifact on unbeatable massive fleets (with transport ships included) that are about to take one of my planets .... peow peow!

Damn those AI rebels!! Give me a little bit of time and we'll see who gets the last laugh. Arghh!
