Do you have vision issues? Or are you yelling?

I think if you manage to change that font, it will be system wide, as in not per folder.

Go to personalization in settings, then to the right, hit High Contrast settings.  Then on the left, go to display.

Thanks and sorry for the all caps.

I already went the personalization route and it would not take

I will try it again.

You may have to log out and back in, or reboot, to see the change.

I got some adjustment by:

1. control panel

2. font

3. adjust clear type text

That made all fonts in all text on all of my 7 screens bold. not larger but bold which makes it easier to read

If you can think if a way to increase font size as a default that would work when labeling folder icons. When creating other documents I could manually adjust the font to suite the document. Any ideas?

Thanks

Scott

Well, Scott, what I told you should have worked.  You could try adjusting your text under display settings.

Right click the desktop, click display.

This will affect more than just text though.

Lastly, if you use WindowBlinds, there are font settings there, and SkinStudio might offer help.

In folder portals  on the reconfigure fences page ..how to change folder style the institution to  user  is to click view of the menu and look for details and styles however that does not show "details and styles" in my version of fences 3.09..11  on windows 10 64 bit

Anyone know how it get that option to appear?

I saw this today (April 2020) and am wondering the same thing. I know that you could also do this in a previous version of Windows 10 but that one of the updates eliminated that option (detail view -- which i would really like to have). So I assume that Fences has to align with the Windows update and also are not able to provide that option.
