Really?

No support

I've been a customer since about 2004. Yesterday I decided to renew my subscription to Object Desktop. I paid, have the receipt and was not credited for my purchase. 4391102 is the order number.

When I request a license number for my product, I am e-mailed my expired one. I simply was not credited with the purchase. I can't download it either.

Please read carefully. I paid to renew- My subscription does not show as renewed, just the expired one from 2017. When I retrieve my product key, I get the expired key.  I paid, and got nothing. Let's do this the easy way. I want a refund, and to close my account. The bells and whistles are fun and a nice touch, but I don't need them. Thank you.

LOL! Are you kidding? I just filed a dispute with my bank. This is the newest run-around. From your link. "Sorry, we encountered a problem (invalid department). Please start over."

kc8647 .... sometimes this happens.  A purchase goes through the store and your bank will show it as 'done' however it hasn't, not entirely.  The vendor [in this case Stardock] may have a process in place to ascertain that your account is not being accessed/charged in error [a process to protect the customer, not Stardock] so there is a delay.  What is then needed is real-time human intervention at our end so as to formally approve the process.

This becomes problematic over weekends - outside of US Office hours when the delay can be a day or two instead of minutes.

The important thing is - you actually have not been debited - yet - until that human intervention completes the process.

I know the delay can be annoying but it's an indication of our customer protection in place, nothing else.

I can't solve the issue personally as I am based approx 12000 miles from Stardock and thus cannot access sales/accounts...;)

I'll wait patently, I felt like I was beating a dead horse. Going after activation codes I was never issued, I hope you understand my frustration.

Thank you.

I have updated your expiration date for your original license.  Sorry for the delay.

I have tested, this morning, the ticket submission link and process:

https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/Tickets/Submit

It completed successfully; not sure what your issues was at the time.

I can tell you why at least some of the wrong email addresses happen.
I sit back from a widescreen tv used for my monitor. Consequently, I crank up the font size in windows. Well I just now went through the same procedure with the same results as thread starter, and when I typed my email address in, I realized that your web page made the font quite a bit smaller than this text that I am typing right now (small to the point where I had the uneasy feeling that if i'd typed it wrong, I wouldn't know it). Font size for the user's email address seems like a bad spot of a web page to force total size control over like your page does.

And needless to say, I am now in the same predicament, of not being able to retrieve the serial keys for ObjectDesktop that I just paid for through PayPal.

No doubt because your PayPal email address is different - it would be under that account.

PM me the email address you use for PP and Ill merge the accounts....
