Bug with Groupy and MS Remote Assistance

Bad Image error when launching MSRA while Groupy x64 client is running

Hello,

I recently started using Groupy and have immediately had a problem when using Microsoft Remote Assistance which I use many times per day. The Groupy client causes a Bad Image 0xc0000428 error when the MSRA session is initialized. The only way to fix this problem is to force close the process for the 64-bit Groupy client, at which point the MSRA request goes through as intended.

The error looks like this:

 groupy error

Anyone have any thoughts on how to allow Groupy to run without interfering with MSRA?

Thanks!

This is a defect in the latest version of Windows which caused this with a number of applications running when using MSRA.  It has been reported to Microsoft but as yet they have not fixed it.

To work around it you can follow the instructions in this post : https://forums.stardock.com/496396/page/1/#3757154

If it didn't work you probably didn't follow the instructions fully.  It is worth a reboot afterwards just to be sure.

This is the only workaround for the defect in the OS.

I want to exceed my chrome browser from group I don't want groupy to make chrome browser groups. Although I want gropuy to automatically makes other application groups rather than chrome
