Some programs don't remember on which Monitor they were closed last

Hi,

normally Windows remembers on which Monitor and which position a program was last closed.

With maximized windows there doesn't seem to be a problem, but normal windows are always reopened at the same position on the primary monitor.
Is there any way to change this behaviour, as it is very annoying.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. Need more information.

1) Windows version, please use winver.exe for full version numbers

2) Groupy version.

3) Video capture of the issue so we can understand the issue more clearly.

Thanks

Also which application windows are an issue.

Remembering where a window was last opened isn't an OS feature, it would be up the application in question.  Some do, others do not.

If you are opening up from a group it would remember where the group was last placed though.

Hello,

  1. Newest Windows 10 1903 [Version 10.0.18362.295]
  2. Groupy Version 1.25 (Update says no newer version available)
  3. Need some time to setup my rig for making the video. Normally I just record one monitor or window.
  4. I know that, but windows as cmd-prompt or file explorer and other Windows included programs remember their last position and size. Without groupy this functionality is given. It doesn't make a difference if it is a single instance or several grouped windows closed by the menu command for closing all at once.
At the moment I just group windows from the same program and I think it will stay that way as it fits my working style better.
