Yet another request - Always on Top

I've been using the trial and love it.  I realize it is for managing the desktop and some fences I use exactly that way.  I also like to dock it on top of my screen and use it as a launcher.   I put commonly accessed folders there - etc, set rollup and it works great.  It is awkward to have to move a bunch of windows out of the way to access it though.

I see this has been requested before - buy why can't fences individually be configured to "always-be-on-top"?  What would that hurt?   Objectdock is something I didn't care for and is quite dated.  Fences works for all my needs *except* I have to do manual window management to use it as a launcher.  Fences is lean, looks and feels modern and its flexibility for use could be even better.

Come on.... :)

Thank you AzDude.   I've been a customer on and off since the beginning.  Once upon a time I worked on PCTools and also Norton Utilities... we always loved your stuff.

I am new to Fences and love it. Only drawback as you describe that i must minimize all running apps to get access to the Fences roll-up. This is hard to understand and shouldnt be a problem for the programmers to fix asap.

End of Ronstub's quote

It is not really hard to understand if you understand what is Fences. Its mainly a desktop organizer. Its work on the desktop level. As without Fences, you can only be able to see and interact with those icons on your desktop once you clear that area on your desktop. Don't confuse Fences with Docks.

Sorry basj, still dont see any reason for not realising the "always-on-top" functionality. I have a couple of other apps on my PC which do exactly that (switchable on-off).

I am just trying to explain to you, how Fences work. Just for your information, there were few feature requests send in, including this thread, as the same thing you pointing out. It's really up to Stardock Dev team to implement it or not.

Thanks.
