Context menus slow to open

The context menus in Start10 are very slow to open over 0.5 seconds. E.G. hovering over the Control Panel menu is slow to open its drop-down menu. I have set the Window 10 menu delay to zero ms in the registry but that has made no difference. Is there a similar registry entry for Start10? Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am convinced that this has worked previously with menus opening instantly?
