I'm lost after being away from this

My extra- large dynamic navigation icons across the top of my screen are missing

I'm back at my PC after an extended break.

My specially chosen extra-large application icons (not specific files like I have sorted in Fences but a handful of apps that I frequently use) are gone.

I had selected these a long time back to appear at the top center of my main screen but, they disappeared and I forget how I got them there to repeat the process.

How do I get them back?

I thought maybe it was a feature of Start 10 but I do not see it anywhere in that menu.

Perhaps there was a software update I performed without realizing this feature was going away.

Please help.

Hello,
Sorry to hear you are having issues. We can't really help you if you don't remember which of Stardock software you are referring to. It could be Fences, ObjectDock or Launch (https://www.stardock.com/products/launch/)

Note : Launch will hide itself if you are not on tablet mode. That might be the case.

Test it out and let us know if you still need our assistance.

I think you pointed me in the right direction!!!!

It is Stardock Launch that appears to have ceased for me.

Though I have many flavors of LAUNCH EXE files in my Windows 10 program files directory, none open anything useful!

All just flash, at best, and do not even show up in Task manager.

The one exception, Launch8Config.exe,  when double clicked now opens my regular Start10 menu????

I am using a Windows 10 desktop PC and used to have my selected x-large application icons always appear in a row at the top of my main monitor unless I had something open that covered them until resized.  Now they are completeely GONEl.

Thanks for pointing me to the correct Stardock application!

I'm puzzled why this just appears to have ceased to appear without warning.

How do I recover?

Is there a free app update for Windows 10 version of Launch I need to purchase?

THANK YOU!

As I mentioned above. Launch will hide itself on Desktop mode. Are you in tablet mode?

Tablet mode?????

I'm using a desktop PC with Windows 10.

That's what Ive used all along!

Is there a setting to put my Windows 10 PC into Tablet mode?

If so, what do I lose by doing that?

Finally, I finally noticed other customers made similar complaints a year or more ago!

When is Stardock going to fix the problem?

Launch only work in Windows 10 table mode. But it work on Windows 8 in both mode, since on Windows 8, it have full screen Startmenu. That is, I believe, the main reason Launch was made back then. Now since Windows 10 no longer have Full screen Startmenu, Launch  only work on Tablet mode, which usually enable with system with touch screen or touch pad capabilities.

Would also like to point out that you might be interested in Fences. You could setup Fences to act as application launcher. Here a link on Fences : https://www.stardock.com/products/fences/

Fences should work on desktop or tablet mode.

This is my first time back to the forum in several days so I have not read some of the information provided.

I can tell you that on my Windows 10 PC, not a tablet, turning on Tablet mode is not an option.  When I click in the Windows 10 system tray on the Notifications icon, it pops up 12 boxes for various Windows Notification Settings but the only one which is greyed out, preventing selection, is the one labeled "Tablet Mode".

Once I was pointed toward the LAUNCH app, I started changing various settings but with no success even after multiple reboots.

Yet today, I rebooted due to a system being very slow and suddenly the extra-large application icons are back??????

I don't know what I did but now, after rebooting a few times,  when I click on Start10, the large Launch buttons briefly show up again at the top of the screen.  Once I click on anything, they disappear again so they take up desktop only briefly, when needed.

I would love to offer the solution that worked but I have no idea how I got them back and am left to wonder when they will disappear again.

I will greatly appreciate it when Stardock repairs this application's stability and functionality.

Solved it???

Although I'm happy in the moment, it remains unsettling that it randomly stopped running, it is running today but I don't know why, and it may randomly stop running later this week.

I don't know if  I accidentally stumbled across a setting change somewhere or if it just appeared as randomly as it disappeared and may disappear again tomorrow.

To me, even a temporary solution would be identifiable with repeatable steps.

A permanent solution must come from the software team.

I just restarted my Windows 10 desktop PC (not a tablet) computer after shutting down last night.

The large LAUNCH icons I posted here two days ago are gone.

Yet, AGAIN!

So, I went down to Start10, found the Stardock Software folder, and clicked to open LAUNCH.

But it just reopens Start10 as if I clicked on the tiny Start10 icon to navigate.

Ir appears I'm back to where I was yet a bit more frustrated.

Please fix this software or at the very least, provide instructions to get it going again each time it dies.

That is how Launch will function on Win10 currently.  When in desktop mode, you will have to open Start10 to see Launch.  In tablet mode, you should see it all the time.

Do you mean "how it will disfunction?

It would appear you missed post #11.

Please repair this piece of software.

In the mean time, would you please provide instructions on how to get it to function when it disappears?

I asked this question 3 weeks ago.

Why are there still no repairs or even instructions to work around this failure from the developers?

I'm still waiting repairs or corrective answers.

It just popped back up where it belongs after weeks of being gone.

Please provide a repair or at least instructions on yhow to control this little monster.
