Have any of the wallpapers accepted actually been made in PSP alone? Wow...

Many are made in PSP alone....it is a quite capable program, and, provided you have the skill, can recreate anything found possible with the likes of Bryce or Terragen, etc....

Im a faitful user of Bryce and PhotoShop7. I use one to complement the other. But I have been experimenting with PS7 alone to create my designs.
My Tribal Dragon wall is 100% PS7

I would also recommend rhino3d so you could use it for light research etc. Its been a while since i made wallpapers ,that what happends when you get a job ,no more time lol

Tip: Rhino might be a demo but just use print screen to get the final render and save your 30 limited saves

I use POVRay in conjunction with PS7. POVRay is a freeware, but has a learning curve that takes time to summit.

There are none. Not anymore at least. No more free bryce trials . I looked for about 3 hours one day. None of the links work.
