Groupy just stopped working

Groupy just stopped working on Windows 1809, 17763.529. I have reinstalled 3 X to no avail. It was working fine till today. It does not do anything ie group with any of the options.

Make sure to reboot after the purge. Install using the latest version you download from your account. Reboot again and retest. Report back here.

I just tried that and it worked. It is very concerning, however, that I have to do this awkward procedure (because I have to reboot). Was the integrity of the software compromised and how did this happen? I think Groupy is an amazing app because it is so useful. But if I have to purge and reinstall every few weeks, it diminishes its usefulness. I think the code needs to be improved to prevent this from happening in the future.
