Dreamweaver is good. I still use FrontPage although some don't care for it.

Thanks, I have DW myself...but this would be for a friend, so I was thinking more along the line of a smaller program (freeware or shareware) that can be used as a text/HTML editor. She has some html experience, but isn't a major programmer. Thanks again.

The nicest freeware editor is probably Context.

Win32pad -- Its a replacement for notepad and it really cool. Loads fast and has good features. Check it out!

Like jcg said, Arachnophilia is good if you know how to code. Saves a lot of keystrokes putting in tags and such.

At the most minimal end, notepad. At something really fance, Dreamweaver. Somwhere int the middle, Homesite. (though its gotten a bit pricey recently)
