Clicking + (new blank document) in Office 365 Creates 2 new documents

Office 365 Ver. 1904 Build 11601.20144

Windows 10 Ver. 1903 Build 18362.86

Clicking the + to add a new blank Office document creates two new documents. This happens in Word and Excel. I have Automatic Grouping set for Word, Excel, and File Explorer. This does not happen with Explorer windows.

This is new to v. 1.2

Thank you for the bug report.

In the short term, you can avoid this by going to the Groupy settings UI and unticking the open new blank document in Word/Excel rather than recent documents setting.
