Cannot Activate Groupy Error 205

I'm trying to activate Groupy.  It appears in my order history.  I've been through the faqs and threads but I don't see any option to save a .req file. If I select offline it is requesting a .resp file. No matter, the computer is online but will still not activate.  I tried merging the potential two emails since I purchased via Paypal but that doesn't seem to have helped.  Now I have numerous emails with the product key so I believe I have that correct.

I can't post any more to the response as a new User (also frustrating) so I guess I'll edit my original post. To AzDude : I have read the other posts and the Activation Faqs page .  My computer name is short and contains no non-western characters.  I do believe it has something to do with the account registrations associations.  Either way this is totally frustrating.

Yay! The purge process worked and Groupy activated after reboot/ re-install.

I just tried the manual activation... While I get no error when running the command, still doesn't work.

I disconnected and tried offline activation, An error occurred while updating the entries. See the inner exception for details. (1001)

I'm guessing there is something wrong with the account and association of the product key.

This is incredibly stupid.

I agree with you this is the most idiotic process I have ever encountered. It has me so frustrated. I had Fences 2 in the past and had the same experience.

The process is so frustrating. I installed it and followed all of the instructions in entering the key copy and past from email. It gives me an error 205 and just as you explained I can not activate via CMD or no way to due the offline. No instruction on downloading the reg.

 

Also mentioned about having Western character that is a bunch of ... My pc name does not have any.

I sure hope they fix this issue as I had Fences 2 back from 2013 same issue. Finally I just deleted out of pure frustration. Please find a fix as the issues are not on our end they are at server side.

The Server was down for awhile and now reset , try activation now
