Muliplicity

cannot reach secondary computer

FOLKS.  Help pls.

Just bought object desktop. Trying to get multiplicity to work.  It shows disconnected on the primary computer.

QUESTION IS THIS: Do I need to buy another object desktop license for the secondary computer ? At this time that one only runs START 10

No, Secondary PCs do not require activation.

Sean.. thank you.

I've put multiplicity on the second machine.Have set rules into the windows firewalls and into trend micro but still cannot get the primary to talk to the secondary. can ping the secondary just fine.... but cant seem to make the two. pcs connect.

both are fully up-to-date win 10 machines.

any suggestions ?

THANK YOU so very much. Indeed a most comprehensive document. System is working fine now... guess what I had done wrong?

I had, instead of the PASSCODE... inserted the PASSWORD of the  secondary computer, Stupid? Yes.... but at 74 my olde brain isn't as sharp as it used to be. |"Blessings of old age ???"

Anyway.... let me say this: For a program which costs PEANUTS money, your lighting fast and professional support puts many of the big boys to shame. I mean every syllable of that phrase and I should know, having worked as a support mngr in a VERY LARGE multinational company where almost nothing costs less than a million dollars.

These days Shawn.... support is often nothing more than "lip service"  support and the customer, after having parted with his money, is left to "figure it out himself". No so here... again, you can be bloody proud of what you are doing.
