Start10 - Missing Windows 10 Context Menu

It may be there, but I cannot find it - in the standard version of Win10, if I right click on the Start button, the Context Menu is displayed.  Yet, when I right click on the Start10 icon, it is not there - nor does there appear to be a way to add it to the displayed pop-up window.

Is there a way to add the Windows 10 Context Menu to the Start10 right click action?  If not, is there another way to access it?

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I believe, that is not in the Start10, but you can easily get to that menu using the "Win+X" keys.

It's funny, I  have the right-click -> WinX Context menu functionality on one PC but not on a 2nd.

The first PC had Start8 installed when it was running Win8.1 and both Windows and Start8 have been upgraded to 10. The 2nd PC Start10 was installed straight onto Win10. I assume this was a setting from Start8 that has been removed from Start10?

The Win+X context menu right-click behaviour can be resurrected for Win10 by adding a REG_SZ registry key called: ShowWinX (value = 1) to HKCU\Software\Stardock\Start8\Start8.ini\Start8.

Works immediately, no need to reboot!

HTH,

Chris.
