Windows error

from Stardock Forums

Hello,

I attempted to run the trial keyboardlaunchpad_public.exe, but I get an warning from Windows 10, in a red box titled User Account Control, that says "An Administrator has blocked you from running this app..."  Also my other protection software finds "..a worm like action..."  What gives?  Is there another source for the download besides Cnet?

That would be a false positive if it is citing KLP specifically (not anything CNet may be trying to install).

If you are in a corp environment, you would need to talk to your IT peeps about getting access.  If it is a personal PC (you are admin), there may be a 'more' link to allow you to proceed or you could, temporarily, disable UAC:

I am on my home computer therefore I am the administrator.  I have never, ever, seen an error message like this before. 

There is no "more" link.

I set the UAC to none by dragging the slider to the bottom and clicked OK.  Still get the error.

I would send a picture but I see no way to attach one. here.

Hello,  I tried again to install Keyboard Manager.  These are the error messages I am getting.  I believe that Cnet is adding something that is causing a problem.  Is there another place where I can get the program.
