Various inconsistencies in the Ship Designer

I've started playing around a bit in the Ship Designer and I've found a few inconsistencies that I'd like to highlight.

Firstly, I've noticed that the icon of several designs are not the same as the main model. 

This is most obvious with some of the drones (a few examples below)

 

Terran Guardian Drone

Terran Drone Interceptor

Drengin Pillager Drone

Drengin Blister Interceptor

Yor Glitch Drone

Yor Bug Interceptor

But also a few other more subtle ship types too (a few more examples below)

 

Onyx Knight

Yor APU-GEN

Snathi Watcher

There are also a few models in the United Earth faction that are the same as the Terran Alliance models. These really don't feel coherent with the rest of the faction and it would be great to see these few remaining hold overs updated.

(notice that these drones are showing the correct icon)

 

Finally, the United Earth starbases and shipyards are also identical to the Terran Alliance ones. It would be really nice to see these updated too.

I’m updating this list after Retribution Version 3.6 has dropped.

 

The recent patch notes mention “Fixed custom ship style sets having the wrong strategic icons”. I’m not sure if this is related but all the icons that I’ve mentioned above are still incorrect.

 

There a few more things I’d like to highlight in the ship designer that could use a bit of a tidy up.

 

 

 

The Ship Style menu now shows two entries for “Drath Ship Style”. I know that this style show up in 2 different DLCs, but it would be good to only show one entry. Also please, show this menu in alphabetical order.



The Ship Colors menu has 2 Asteroid entries, however the entries apply different colors to the ship despite having the same color summary icon. Furthermore, there are a bunch of “Inverted” entries not present that would be nice to see. And finally, this menu too should be ordered alphabetically.


All the races have a Terran Engineer Ship entry.

A bit of a clean up of these game elements would be fantastic.
