Keyboard shortcuts

Is it possible to get some more custom keyboard shortcuts for new tab, close tab and tab switching? I'd love to have the same shortcuts as in my browser. I read someone say that Groupy uses the Win key because other programs use CTRL shortcuts, but an option to change it would be nice. Other similar software to Groupy already allows it.

Also, is it possible to remove the gap at the top of the title bar (with an option like some browsers) for easier clicking?

Hi there,

I just tried out groupy today and think it's pretty slick. First thing I went to customise was the keyboard shortcuts and was immediately disappointed by the option(s?) provided.

I am seconding the request for customising next/previous tabs. The win+ctrl combination feels too stiff and all the buttons are on one side. I normally use ctrl+page up/down to tab between things in other programs.

Being able to use win+page up/down would already be a huge benefit. It's the only thing stopping me from purchasing groupy. As for now I'll stick to mobaXterm

I second this request for custom keyboard shortcuts. Would be great if I can move from one tab/app to the other w/ eg the same keyboard keys I use in Chrome: ctrl+tab and ctrl+shift+tab. But would be better if I can set my own, more easier keys eg 5 and 7.

And if the tabs consist of eg a video on Youtube.com and Notepad it should bring focus back to the YT video when I go to that YT video tab so I just have to press the Space bar to play/resume the video.

Does anyone have some other tips how to make summaries/transcriptions more easily from YT videos? Eg in combination w/ using a Notepad app or Google Drive word doc?

I agree with the other users. Just installed Groupy but without the usual hotkeys working becomes so inefficient. And efficiency is what tabs are for! Mostly wanted tabs for windows explorer but as it is, I deinstalled Groupy again. Better use Clover - although that is quite unstable, it does make work more productive.

Hi,

so it is normal I cannot cycle through the tabs using keyboard shortcuts? (I dont really get how the customization works, I dont see mto be able to customize anything)

Interestingly: I switched to a graphic tablet as my primary pointing device this week (for notes taking and for wrist pain reasons) and the pen doesnt allow me to cycle through my tabs (it's like the left click is deactivated)

I'm also going to reiterate the suggestion for more hotkey options. In particular creating a new tab. qTabBar allows me to use CTRL+N to create a new tab, and that functionality would be amazing to have.

Unless this functionality already exists?
