A better question, perhaps, may be what issues are you having doing it?  When you install AB on each, what problems are you seeing connecting them?

Wow! Thanks for replying so quickly.

I've installed AB on both PCs (Win7).

I've filled in the properties of the 'source' and 'destination' machines.

I play music on the source but have no reaction on the destination.

It seems like there's a missing step?

If you used the hostnames for them, try using the actual IPs of the PC:

This is Multiplicity but the concept is the same:

You might also want to test with all firewalls (including any that your AV app provides) off on each PC:

I've got Kapersky on both machines, and Defender says 'Kaspersky's looking after all this".

So I disabled all protection on both machines, and the was no change.

The meters in Sounds on my destination machine are dead flat, so I wonder how AB finds the signals, or whether they are not getting in?

My machines 'talk to each other' - my single mouse and keyboard support both PCs.

And I can achieve my objective - sounds from source being heard on destination - using Google Chrome SoundIt.

But I would prefer to use AB because I think it would be easier to control if I master it.

The Passcodes are puzzling me.  Do they (1) relate to existing passwords, or (2) are they specific to AB?

If (1) my existing User Password for my user, on both machines, is only 3 chars - so too short for AB.

If (2) I changed the Passcode on the destination, then tried to change it on the source, and it wouldn't let me.

WAIT!

Funny old game, computing.

Just went through the passcode scenario again - changed them both to, say, myABpw, fiddled about a bit, including un-muting one of my machines, and POW! It's working...

(Kaspersky re-activated).

THANK YOU
