Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

Why do I keep getting update notifications and install them and nothing about the version changes?
End of quote

We think we have found the issues and should have an update soon for it. In a day, get the version from here and it should be updated:

Sorry for the trouble.

Thanks for a quick reply! I'll just wait until the final release. It doesn't do it constantly just seems like every few days one of several PCs I have it on will present an update that appears to do nothing when it's finished updating.

Doing it here too every so often, on Windows7, 8.1 and 10. :-(

Thanks again...but right NOW, the link isn't working. When you go there it counts down from ~5 seconds and then nothing. Tried the link for if the download doesn't start, no joy either. I'll just wait for it to auto update. But, thanks again for the speedy fix!

If you are using Chrome, open an incognito window and paste in the link...

You can use these if that fails:

When your ObjectDesktop subscription is expired all your software still works. You just don't get new updates.

Oh,really? So where you think I get this info "WindowBlinds 10.74 (054 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 bit OS"?

Or should I consider that I have pay for WB and SkinStudio again?

If Windows Blinds is showing that you need to REACTIVATE usually all you do is enter your Product Key and email and you're back in business.

Actually the question was about OFTEN updates...

Well that's what the original post is about. We got an answer from Stardock (Reply #2). Download the new version from the link that was supplied, install it and be done with the issue of "often updates".

Mine as well.  I receive the notice that there is an update to WB.  Current version 10.74 (054....).  Update to new version 10.74 (054....), the same version.

This occurs weekly since first installing 10.74 054.  Over and over.

Is there an error somewhere in how my system reports current version to your server, or is there an error somewhere in how your server assesses the version number I send to you, such that the result is always that a "new" update is available?

Noticing in the thread so far, that you have released one or more "fixes" to this problem, I would suggest FAIL therein.

Clicked and visited site.  Time passed, no download dialog appeared.

What browser are you using? I'm assuming you checked your download folder. Some, like Chrome, do not display a download dialogue. The download is saved automatically. When I went for the update the download happened automatically. No problem.

As an aside...you said time passed and no dialogue appeared. Did you click the download button? Just asking.

I am having the "updating all the time" issue, only it is with Groupy. Every day I get a message that new software is available. It is to download version 1.18 of Groupy, but I already have 1.18 installed.

I think I addressed that last Thursday - the trial had the wrong version but the account page one was correct.  Let me know if you are still seeing it after installing 1.18.

Yes. I have downloaded Groupy 1.18 several times. Did the reboot as instructed, but Object Desktop still shows it as needing version 1.18.
