Fence software locked my desktop icons

I downloaded the fence software. After it was downloaded and I started to create the fences I was unable to move my desktop icons. The beats the entire purpose of the fence software.

I then removed the software and I was able to move the desktop icons again. 

Have you seen this before? I like the fences but this way it is worthless.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. When you have fences installed, you might have fences locked. Please unlocked it. To get to it. Right click anywhere on desktop -> View -> Lock Fences.

I have the same problem and it's the icons that are immovable so can't drag them to a fence. Nothing to do with locking the fences.

Hello,

Need to know more on your system.

  1. Windows version, please use Microsoft's Winver.exe to get full Windows version numbers.
  2. Fences version installed.
  3. Antivirus / Security Software install.
  4. Do you have CCleaner installed?

Had exactly same error, on 30/04/2021, windows 10 up to date. Only native windows antivirus, no CCleaner instalation, and Fences. V.1.01

Please upgrade to Fences V3 to get better compatibility with current Windows 10 version.
