Doesn't automatically group windows

Hi,

Having two issues with Groupy on two different laptops:

1. Doesn't group windows even through automatically set to group windows for that application

- set to 'automatically group all XXX.EXE windows together'

- Occurs across a few commonly used applications, such as Excel, Word

- running Windows 10; two different notebooks with their own licenses

- Have to click 'Add to group' > 'All ungrouped windows from XXX.EXE'. It will then typically open group windows correctly

- Occurs on fresh boot, with on one application open, etc. Occurs regardless of how files are opened: by double-click, File|Open within application, or if application is already open with no documents, or adding opening additional documents within application

- have reinstalled, checked & unchecked settings, etc

- one laptop is a brand new Windows 10 out-of-the-box

2. When grouping windows, sometimes windows sizes are changed on grouping

- Typically use applications maximised

- When grouping ungrouped windows, Groupy will group them together but will often make the application restored, i.e. non-maximised

- running Windows 10; two different notebooks with their own licenses

- have reinstalled, checked & unchecked settings, etc

- one laptop is a brand new Windows 10 out-of-the-box

Is anyone else having similar issues? Couldn't find above in the FAQ or searching forums. I did see posts about Excel issues but nothing similar to above.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having issues. Would like to know more.

1. Could you provide this list (application that set to auto group and not group)

and show us that application that failed to group, (Video capture would be best). Note that some application is known to have problem in grouping, due to its nature of programming. But so far I have not seen Excel or Word have problem in grouping.

2. If you have a video capture of this happening would be nice too.

Thank you.
