I have Outlook application open and multiple tabs grouped for opened emails. When I close an email tab, the entire Outlook application including all grouped tabs minimize. I noticed this behavior in other applications including Outlook.

For your issue could you post a screen capture ( video ) here , please.
are there other apps including explorer other than office you have a similar problem with also ?

Windows 10 pro, vers 1709 bld 16299.967
I have the same issue, Outlook 2016, click an email and the entire group disappears. The issue is that the application isn't getting minimized, at least what I can see, it gets sent to the back of all open apps. Clicking on the app in the tray brings it forward. Problem is when recording, it's kept from going backwards.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. As mentioned above its a known issue. Would suggest to try the recently available Groupy 1.19 Beta (https://forums.stardock.com/494041) and see if the same issue still there. If it does please post a video grab of the problem.
