Multiple Monitor Issue

Group jumping monitors when new tab added

When I have a maximized group on one monitor and drag a window from another monitor into it, the group switches from the monitor it was on to the monitor I dragged the new tab from. This is really disruptive.

 

It does not make a difference if the new tab window was maximized or not before adding to the group.

If the group is not maximized it does not switch monitors, as far as I've noticed.

This happens with most programs, but explorer & notepad are what I use to test if different versions fix the issue.

Occurs with or without Custom Scaling enabled.

I have run the Groupy purge script & reinstalled.

 

My tested environments: 

System A) Windows 10 Pro 1709 with 3 1920x1080 displays, running Groupy 1.17

System B) Windows 10 Pro 1709 with 2 1920x1080 displays, running Groupy 1.17

I am also experiencing this. Running Win 10 pro 1809 but it has been there since before 1803.

Yes, currently trying Groupy out, and this was one of the first things I noticed - - I dragged a browser windows from the right to an explorer windows on the left, both then sit on one side and jump screens when I switch between browser and explorer tabs. Weird!
