Microsoft Edge

I have been having recent issues with Microsoft Edge and WindowBlinds.

With WindowBlinds active I cannot click, hold and drag an Edge window.  When WindowBlinds is de-activated with the Default theme and windows re-started Edge window dragging works fine again.

I can also confirm this.

Well still having issues with Edge. I thought I would tell WindowBlinds not to skin Edge.  It still is skinning it and window dragging still won't work.

I am not having any of these problems. Edge is working just great for me. I haven't updated WB though. I'm waiting for the official release and am not running the beta that came out recently. My WB is: WindowBlinds 10.65 (048 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 bit OS. Could that be why I'm not having any issues? Are you guys running the beta?

I'm running the same version as you Chasbo.

One thing I noticed, if I double click the top bar in Edge to make it full screen then double click it again, Edge window drag starts working again.  But this only works seldom.

Very weird.

Try going to an administrative command prompt BDBF and running sfc /scannow. Reboot and see if it helps.

Thanks for the idea LightStar but I do not think its a windows system integrity issue.  The is sometime active but never on the first try.  Unless WindowBlinds is unloaded.

Also, why WindowBlinds cannot be told to not skin Edge says to me something is not right with WindowBlinds.

I tried installing the 10.70 Beta and running the Diamond skin still sticks sometimes.

I don't use Edge but I've been sitting here putzing with it.  Just to add to the confusion, it seems to me that I have a lot more luck dragging the window by clicking/dragging at the right side of the titlebar, like just a little to the left of the window buttons.  It seems to work consistently that way.  Might depend on where you're clicking when you're trying to drag it.

I putzed too. Opened Edge and resized it. I was able to drag it all over my screen. I just clicked on the middle of the title bar and moved it. I'm running 10.70 beta

For me, I can move it if I drag on the title bar a long as Edge has not load any actual web site yet. It just showing its Start page. But once I finished loading a website, I can no longer move it. Until I add another tab of Edge start page.(Click the plus sign)

Clicking on the right side near the buttons allows me to consistently drag it also.

Guess it might help if I did this:

Windows 10 Home (17134.rs4_release.180410-1804)
WindowBlinds 10.7 BETA (050 - Windows 10 Edition) - 64 bit OS

Window titlebar blur features are enabled on this operating system

Wblind.dll 2018/07/08 11:45:50
Wblind64.dll 2018/07/08 11:45:29
Wbsrv.dll 2017/03/28 08:53:46
WB10Config.exe 2018/07/07 17:31:18
Wbload.dll 2018/07/09 10:52:37
Screen10.exe 2017/03/28 08:53:17

And for the next weirdness.  It's Edge window mouse drag working normally again.  No more sticking.   Between last night when it still would stick and this morning I have not changed anything.

Very weird.

And... It's back to sticking again.

Um...I didn't do it. Even if I did...I didn't. This is the first time something weird happened to somebody not me. True story. o_O  8|  :)

I also have the same problems with window blinds skinning edge even though its told to exclude it.

I also have the click and drag problem ..only if I open a new window or tab I can move that but the original edge window won't move. I have to use the windows key plus the arrows to move it "Hotkey style"
