Hotkeys while in KVM = crash

When a KVM session has focus and try to use a Hotkey to switch to a third PC the KVM session no longer responds.

Upon terminating Multipl2.exe the KVM window will respond again, and will draw updates again, yet will not take any keypress or mouseclick. The window accepts clicks however, I can click on disconnect to close it at the top, it just never gets sent to the KVM'd machine.

Terminating MPRDP64.exe and clicking on connect in the Multiplicity window will launch a new KVM Session that behaves exactly alike, i.e. it draws, yet no keys/clicks are being sent.

Hotkeys don't work, and terminating MultiplicityConfig.exe and and restarting it doesn't help.

Terminating MultiSrv.exe (or just all that remain, not sure on particulars at this point) and restarting MP fixes it all.

Let me know how I can be of assistance.

Hello,

Sorry to hear you are having trouble.

When a KVM session has focus and try to use a Hotkey to switch to a third PC the KVM session no longer responds.
End of quote

There is a known issue with HotKeys and KVM sessions - it is being looked at.

That said, HotKeys will not work for KVM sessions - they are only mean for use in Seamless mode.

Ok, great, I hope you can do something about this quickly, the results for not selecting a different window before switching to another PC are currently quite catastrophic.

Did you understand however, that I wasn't trying to open another KVM session with my hotkey? I wanted to give focus to a different PC, with a Hotkey to switch to a specific PC in Seamless mode.

Doing that while KVM window is active = crash, first clicking on desktop or another app and KVM window does not have focus = switch works without a problem, KVM session happily waiting for my return.

Thanks for your support

I did understand, and it has been reproduced, yes.
