Groupy process constantly using a bit of CPU

I've been using Groupy for about a week, and I noticed that the "Stardock Groupy" (GroupyCtrl.exe) process is almost always at the top of the Task Manager's process tab when ordered by the CPU usage.

Now, the usage isn't anything big, it's mostly 0.1 to 0.2 % (with Ryzen 2700), but makes me think what is it doing? It the process somehow polling the windows for groups or something?

I'm not that concerned about the usage but just wanted to ask out of curiosity, because most processes are usually at 0 % CPU (at least the Fences and Start10 are).

Just checked mine and it also jumps 0.1 to 0.2% every 5-10 seconds.

Mine is using 12% of the CPU, which is obviously a concern.

A small amount of cpu usage would be considered normal as Groupy has to perform some housekeeping on things.

However 12% (which is probably an entire cpu core), is clearly not!

Please try upgrading to Groupy 1.2 which came out yesterday as a first step if you were not using it.
