Remove "Saved Groups" folder from start menu?

I am OCD about start menu

Hi,

I would like to be able to remove the Saved Groups folder from the start menu. I'm a bit OCD and every time I delete it, it comes back, like a nightmare or a virus or spyware or shit like that. In the application settings there does not seem to be a way to disable saved groups, or even disable just the start menu folder entry. In the registry, some of the settings are not readily identifiable - not sure what they do-and others are obviously not going to affect what I want.

I have had control of my start/programs menu since Winblows 95B and Red Hat 2.0. All throughout Winblows/Linux history I have been able to get it just the way I like it. Now I cannot. OCD driving me nuts, PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE make a checkbox or something..I really don't care, just someone PLEASE tell me how to get rid of it without uninstalling the whole application?

Thanks,

J

Hello,

Right now, I do not see there is an option to do that. However, I have forwarded your request to the Stardock support team for their review and recommendations. Please keep an eye on this thread for any updates. We really do appreciate your feedback, Thanks.

You can delete the .groupy file from %appdata%\Roaming\Groupy as well.

Hey thank you for all the replies and suggestions I appreciate it.

There is no "You can delete the .groupy file from %appdata%\Roaming\Groupy" on my PC. Probably because I have no saved groups-I suspect the file is created upon the first saved group being created.

Either-way, I deleted the Saved Groups folder a week ago (for the upteenth time) and so far after 3 reboots it has not come back. I have no clue why it stayed deleted this time as opposed to the 85 gazillion times I deleted it previously but there yah go!.

Thanks All.
