some apps (Excel, file explorer, etc) always grouped

how to only have them grouped manually?

I'm currently running Groupy 1.1.  When I open some applications (primarily Excel 2010 and Windows File Exporer), they open grouped (eg with the Groupy tab bar) even if there is only 1 instance.  I do not have autogrouping turned on.  How can I get applications to only group when I manually group them?  Alternatively, how do I get them to ungroup once opened auto-grouped?

Sorry to hear you are having issues. We are now at Ver 1.16. Please purge and reinstall the latest using these steps : https://forums.stardock.com/488142/groupy-support-faq#reinstalling

You can get the latest Version 1.16 from here : http://storage.stardock.com/files/current/Groupy1.16_setup_sd.exe

Please reboot, retest and report back
