Remove "Pin to start (start10)" from .exe context menu in explorer
My question is this: There is a way to remove "Pin to start (start10)" from .exe context menu in windows explorer?
Stardock will be closed for the week starting on Monday, June 29th and we will be returning on Monday, July 6th. We will be monitoring support tickets and forums during this time but expect delays in responses during this time.
My question is this: There is a way to remove "Pin to start (start10)" from .exe context menu in windows explorer?
I've tried many google searches on how to do this exactly as I would like to know as well and I cannot find any answers. I also keep finding this unanswered question at the top of my search results. Does anyone have an answer for this question as I would definitely like to know, this is a deal-breaker for me as I like to have my context menu's neat and organized and I simply cannot find a way to remove Pin to start (start10) on .exe files anywhere in the registry or from my google searches.
I am surprised Google didn't show any results.
Open an admin command prompt in the Start10 installation directory.
Run regsvr32 start10shell32.dll /u
then
Run regsvr32 start10shell64.dll /u
The pin option will be removed.
Wow, thanks for the quick response, it worked. Thank you so much
