Problem Code 121 During Install

Hello all.

 

I'm running Windows 10, and when trying to install DeskScapes from Object Desktop, I'm getting a problem code 121. I tried looking for what this problem code is, but couldn't find anything. Anyone able to help?

BTW can you try to download and install Deskscape 8 directly from your account.

Since the Object Desktop program actually leaves the installer file in my Downloads directory, I ran that separately. My "My Documents" folder is on a network location. It gave me an error saying that it could not create a directory on my network location, and that is why it was failing. I've had no problem getting other programs to create directories there, so I'm not sure why DeskScapes has a problem doing so.

Try " Purging Deskscapes " https://forums.stardock.com/485954/deskscapes-support-faq#reinstalling

Then reboot and reinstall the normal way form " My Downloads " see if that works.

If your Network Location is a Company Network you might need to check with their IT people for help.

Maybe a Security issue .
