HDMI audio extractor showing second desktop after Win10 update - can it be "ignored"?

First, hi all, just joined recently and got the full Object Desktop, and I have a lovely clean desktop as a result :-) Truly one of the few "how did I manage without this?" set of products.

I use an HDMI HD audio extractor on the HDMI output of my GTX-1060. My main display uses the Displayport connection. All was well until an update (exact time unknown as nothing seemed different until recently) seemed to force Windows to see the HDMI extractor as a full second screen (previously it was just identified as audio-only).

Now I know this is 100% not a Stardock issue, but I was wonder if there was a way to make Stardock software ignore, or blind to, the new second "screen" that I have no way of viewing? Icons keep moving onto the desktop I can't see, and when the screensaver kicks in it messes with the Fences layout (presumably due to the lower resolution reported by the second screen, which as far as I know, never turns off).

Any help appreciated!

Hello,

Can't you just set that second screen as "duplicate Mode" instead of "extend mode" When you press your Win+P on the keyboard.

Well that was quick and easy... set to one screen only using that method worked! I had previously tried that via the normal settings and control panel and it made the audio device disappear. I hadn't considered the projection options, thank you! :-D Hopefully someone else finds this helpful too - feels like a dumb first post otherwise!
