Mouse pointer disappears on second computer

I am using Multiplicity on two computers. The mouse pointer is absent on the second computer although can see icons and fields on the second computer blink acknowledging the mouse has passed over them, joust no visible mouse pointer. Once I'm on a field the keyboard works fine. Just no mouse pointer. The software is useless this way, please help.

windows hides the cursors if no pointing device is physically plugged to the pc, SO you need to press start - type "ease of access mouse settings"-  turn on - disable "use only when numlock is enabled", DONE.

As you activate this, the cursors turns visible again and you can move it from another computer using multiplicity.

This is not true. I run a server that has no mouse or keyboard and I see  the cursor just fine.

However, upon booting, it will not show the cursors until the CPU load settles. Do you have something that runs a constant high CPU load perhaps?
