Hello!

Having this issue with these 3 WB skins ONLY - seems to only happen on Explorer/Folders & Skype for Business Apps on the Toolbar.

Arsenic, Eva & The Captain

I would be most grateful for a fix, as these 3 skins are favorites of mine.

WB Toolbar Issue

Many thanks in advance,

Rick (firstfooter)

Hello,

I don't see the problem from your screen shot. What is it?

Thank you for replying.

There are graphics from the skin (usually a min/max button, or something else) behind the windows explorer icon.

It’s not like this all the time, just annoying.

I can't reproduce it on my pc? Just to clarify, Windows 10? Windowblinds 10?

OS is Windows 7 and using WB 10.

I can take another screenshot, if needed.

Basically, it’s just those various parts of the skin showing up behind toolbar icons. Strangest thing ever, and only happens with these 3 WB skins.

Many thanks.

Its that white box behind the folder icons. For me it appear on and off. But almost always appear once (the moment) you apply the skin.

I think I have a solution for it. But need to test it out. I bit more.

BTW, Dave, did you saw it?

Jazlan I removed the pinned app image in edit horizontal taskbars and it looks ok to me now

Hmm.. I get a different solution. I take off the second layer for the Taskbar buttons image. But the best to do it is Dani..

I hope the TS know Skinstudios to apply the fix.

Either way you have a fix for the poster. Don't really need the pinned app image anymore. In fact as you know some of the older skins have several images that aren't needed.

If removing the pinned app works for you it may be the easiest way as one can just remove the code and the image is gone.

Have a good night.

I think, Pinned app image, still needed for Windows 7. Right?

You know who are the active people skinning now. None of us have used it for years. It's just to show a button when you mouseover any pinned app on the taskbar. The first button on the taskbar buttons becomes the mouseover btn for pinned apps. Yes using a pinned app you can make the pinned programs MO a different color. Using the taskbar buttons image the first image is the MO. so who really needs a different color btn when all you do is move you moust to a pinned taskbar app to open it for less than a second.  So it does do something but not important at all as with the normal taskbar btn you will get the MO.

The fact that removing that image from an old skin fixed this problem I would not worry about leaving it in. Note: In the past I have heard of this problem but never any solution but to remove the image. Just delete the code and it's gone as you know but a quick fix for the situation.

Jazlan sorry it worked here so I don't know what else to try since I don't have it after removing the image. I can't fix what I can't find a problem with.

I don't know about a Stardock person but I can't do that. One can modify someone else's WB and use it for personal use but can't give it out.

If a complete fix is found instructions can be given so you can fix it using Skinstudio.

Hey Dave,

If you still interested..

Here how I recreate the problem.

1. Start with apply Acrylic 7. or any other theme. But Acrylic 7 usually works for me.

2. Open 3-4 windows explorer. (make sure the taskbar button option are set at always combine, hide labels.)

3. Apply Arsenic. Sometimes you need to apply it couple of time to actually see it but immediately after the please wait animation disappear. You will see it. I tried with your solution and it still happened.

Okay, thanks. I've never used SkinStudio, so I wouldn't know how to do this. Appreciate your efforts in helping me though.

I'm always interested in learning.

So now I think I found the problem and there isn't any. I think now you are talking about MO when you have more than one explorer window open and combined as you saw above. The TB btns are mainly transparent so looking at the full button you can see the design so to speak. What you are seeing is this Combined button is a different color with like White on the left side. All this is is button design nothing wrong. Check out my SS. Look at the light MO btn on the group. Now look close all the other btns have the same design but darker. You can see the same design on all of them but they just don't stand out. so no changes are required actually except for a new startbutton.

Nope... that not it. The button will look normal when its active. But what my screenshot was showing it not active at all at the moment I apply a new theme... Windowblinds system Icon is active. Window explorer icons is not selected at all therefore its inactive state. And if you look closely on my screen shot.

I made new TB buttons look. you know we are doing this for us as this person already said he isn't doing anything
